We sailed on a 7 night Florida/Bahamas cruise and had a great time. The ship looked a bit dated, but I understand it went into dry dock as soon as we got off of it, so I have no idea what it might look like now. It's one of the smaller boats in the fleet, but we still felt there was plenty to do and see. Trivia in the Schooner Bar was one of my favorite things to do. There was always plenty of room around the pool when we wanted it, both at the main pool and in the "Adults only" (most of the time, anyway) Solarium. We were very impressed with the entire staff, all of whom were friendly, helpful, and outgoing. Paul and Tanya (Cruise Director and the non-stop firecracker) were very entertaining in everything from the "family friendly" events in the Centrum to the "adult" entertainment in the South Pacific Lounge or the Palladium. The food was always amazing, and there's always plenty of it. Chops Grille? Totally worth it. Drink package? Do it.
It is what it is. Which is small and cramped and other similar words. There's no room to even turn around in the shower, and it's nearly impossible for two fully grown adults to change clothes at the same time.
However, we spent almost no time in that room other than when we were asleep. As for the sleeping, it works just fine. Not a lot of traffic in the hallway, no noise from engines or elevators. But it was also about as far as you could get from an elevator, being about the same distance from the forward elevator group and the mid-ships elevator group. But that was fine for us.
We stayed in a hotel very close to Little Italy the night before embarkation and really enjoyed walking around that part of town. If you've got the time to kill, I highly recommend seeing Little Italy and/or Fells Point.
There are only a few blocks of Nassau that are generally considered "safe" to walk around. And even on those there is plenty of soliciting to dodge. I get that they survive on tourism dollars, but it's still less than enjoyable to have to say, "No, thanks." every 20 steps. Every 2 steps, if you're in the Straw Market. I REALLY enjoyed Pirate Republic Brewing. Great beers, great environment, great staff. DO NOT MISS IT.
