This cruise was a small boat cruise, with about 120 passengers onboard.
We had a great time. We have cruised on large ships, but really enjoyed the smaller ship and getting to know the people we were traveling with.
The meals were excellent with a wide choice of locally sourced selections for the daily menu. Breakfast was off the menu with a selection that allowed everyone to eat as if they were at home. There was a small baked goods and fruit buffet as part of the breakfast. Lunch offered a soup, salad, entrée and dessert. Dinner was soup, salad, a choice of entrees and a choice of desserts.
The AAL, Private Balcony Cabin was the same size as on a large cruise ship. However, the bathroom was larger, especially the shower, on the American Pride, than on previous large cruise ships. There was ample room to move around with both of us in the cabin and plenty of storage space.
