Cruise was close to home, places I had not been, tryout of river cruises and cruise company. Not disappointed. Fabulous crew, food and accommodations.Tours were great, not run of the mill. Lovely lounges to sit and read or watch the scenery. The top deck was fabulous. Small groupings sported white wicker furniture, covered with a canopy or open to the sun. Evening cocktail hour before dinner sometimes served on the top deck, a place you hate to leave on a nice day. The inside evening entertainment lounge accommodates all, full of comfortable chintz couches . Flexible seating set up auditorium style for entertainment and in small square conversational groupings during the day, including cocktail hour. Trip back to originating port of Charleston arranged by American was a small, deluxe bus and quite enjoyable, arriving ahead of time right in three dockside parking lot.
I am looking forward to my next American Cruise trip, maybe the Snake River.
Quite comfortable. Single bed with comforter and duvet. Toiletries, tv, balcony
