In addition to being a special birthday the Itinerary was the prime reason we booked this cruise as we always wanted to visit Singapore & Vietnam. The move away from Formal nights to Chic just did not work and there was very little glitz or glamour on these evenings. It is the main reason that we will not be using Celebrity Cruises in the future as we feel that the opportunity to dress up and having a more glamorous ambience than the everyday is one of our main reasons for going cruising.

We used the photographers on one of the Chic nights but were very dissapointed that the $30 charge did not include a cardboard holder and the photo was not even trimmed. It was in fact handed to us in a plastic carrier bag which is the worst service we have received on any cruise.

Whilst the service in the main dining room was excellent we tended to find the food fairly bland and there was very little choice of regional dishes. The lunchtime buffet restaurant was however excellent and offered a very wide range of dishes.

Cabin C3

Cabin was excellent and very well looked after. Our cabin steward was excellent.

Port Reviews

Singapore

Very modern and safe city to visit. Many places of interest to visit. The MTR system was easy to use and not expensive.

The only negative aspect is that we found it envy expensive for eating out.

Koh Samui

Very pleasant little town that we were able to walk into the town centre from the pier
