We chose this cruise, primarily for two reasons; 1) we wanted to give our graduating high school seniors an end of the year gift and 2) this ship was close to our home in Mississippi.

This was our first time to cruise and we went with two other families that had cruised before. One couple cruised on the Dream several months earlier. Everyone had a great time. The couple that had recently cruised on the Dream said this time was so much better!.

There were plenty of things to do while on board during sea days. We took advantage of every activity we could possibly squeeze in. Finally, on Saturday, our last sea day, we found some great deck chairs at the aft on deck 10 and just crashed.

Cabin Review

Cabin interior

Our cabin was comfortable for the two of us that were there. We had plenty of room once we unpacked and put suitcases away under the bed. Our room Steward - Romeo used our names each time we saw him. He always had a great warm smile and asked often if he could do anything to make our stay more comfortable. My wife and I spent most of our time away from the room. However, when we were there, we enjoyed it. Our cabin (7305) was just forward from the middle of the ship which made getting around (forward or aft) super easy.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

We live in Mississippi - only three hours away from New Orleans and we visit this city every now and again. There are always good places to eat throughout the business district and the French Quarter. This trip, we did not plan an excursion.
