We decided to do a last minute vacation for my son's spring break. Carnival had a good price and the port was only a couple hours drive. Getting on the ship was easy and the staff was friendly. The cabin was a decent size and the bed was pretty comfy. There was a TV, but the resolution was not good. There was a variety of stations for viewing. The closet was a nice size and plenty of hangers. The drawers did not close well. The size of the bathroom was fine, but the shampoo was horrible so bring your own. My husband was in the middle of taking a shower and the water shut off. After it came on the water was brown. The water was brown when I first turned on the bathroom sink. Alexander, our steward was great at maintaining our room. We always had plenty of towels and had soap and tissue. The food was nothing great. Although there was a suggested dress code it was not followed. I was in the buffet area and a woman walks in wearing a thong bikini with no cover up, so while I am eating I see this young ladies butt cheeks. Also in the dining room the dress code was not followed. There is plenty to keep you busy on the ship. The photographers took great pictures-just wished they offered a package deal. My son enjoyed the kids camp, putt putt and the pool. We enjoyed Nassau and Freeport. If you go to Freeport, the kayak tour is great. Getting off the boat was a little chaotic. We would probably sail Carnival again for the right price, but would not spend a lot of money to cruise with them, but did feel like I got my moneys worth.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6C

The cabin was okay in size. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. My son had the fold down bed and loved it. There was a TV with several channels, but it was old. There was a desk and chair, but the drawers did not shut well. Several mirrors. Only one outlet, but you can bring and extension. Our steward, Alexander was great!!

Port Reviews

Nassau

The ship docks with the other cruise lines. Getting on and off was easy. We just walked around on our own as we had been to Nassau twice.

Jacksonville

We drove to the port. Thought the price of parking was high.
