Liked it so much we signed up for next year -- same ship, same cabin, different destination. Luxurious cabin, excellent food and service. In fact, we became fast friends with our dining room servers who looked out for us each night. The ship was new and spotless. Breakfast room service every morning. Shore excursions just about perfect, especially the guides and transportation. We selected from a wide array of excursions and found them easy to handle -- generally returning to ship by midway for a leisurely lunch and shipboard activities. Lots of information was provided, and we especially liked the portable ear phones for hearing the guides even at a distance. The process of boarding and departing was handled seamlessly. We have never been more comfortable on a ship. My wife loved the spa. One tip: We used the big pool at the start of the dinner hour when we had it all to ourselves. One minor complaint: The club band seemed to play only contemporary dance music. How about some oldies -- even swing -- for us old timers?
