Loved our Haven Suite! Breakfast in the room was great and the sun was warm!

So for the first day at sea, the outside deck is cold...so touring the ship, settling out items in the room, dining and watching a movie relaxed us after a long day of travel. The next day things warmed up and their was life on the deck. Once we arrived at the beaches for the next three port days - fun in the warm sun was a plenty! Next day at sea, as we head back to New York, was still lively on deck and the last day at sea was cold and windy. A good day to enjoy indoor activities, dine, watch a movie, nap, or pack for the day of disemabarkation the next morning. Not having to fly a day before the cruise was worth the two cold days at sea. Five warm days was enough for this New England girl! This was my first time in Haven and it was a pleasure. The Breakaway is a great ship - but there are many people on this large ship. Being able to avoid some crowds was great since I had my young granddaughters with me. I loved the food, the extra perks and the services with the Haven. The sports deck was so much fun for my granddaughters with the rock-climbing wall, the mini-golf, the Arcade, the spider web and the Breakaway Bounce. There is much to do on this ship! The shows we saw were the Burn the Floor and the Cirque. Both unique and fun. So well done.

Cabin Review

The Haven Aft-Facing Penthouse with Balcony

Cabin H6

This room was like a small apartment. The balcony was HUGE and we often sat out there. One morning, we had breakfast out there. I enjoyed coffee everyday in the room WHENEVER I wanted it. They stocked the fridge with cream and the small kitchen area with sugar, spoons, cups, napkins, etc. The bed was comfortable and it had TWO bathrooms - two toilets and two showers. But, the treat was the large bathtub with the ocean-view. My granddaughters LOVED that. They enjoyed a relaxing tub each night.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

This is my favorite port on the Bahamas. No one selling you stuff you don't want to buy; lounge chairs for everyone, beautiful sand (but watch out for stones and boulders in and out of the water), and a great food buffet.
