We choose this ship due to the price being very competitive, and booked for 3 people as we took our 20 year old grandson with us, we booked without reading any reviews and only started to read them after we had booked the trip, We were horrified by some of the reviews people saying you had to buy tea and water and even about a hotel charge, So to put the record straight you could get tea ,coffee and water 24/ 7 from the Buffett at no charge , there are no such thing as hotel charges but MSC do put a daily gratuities charge on your bill, which you can if you want opt out as we did and reward staff if you want to, However MSC would rather you pay the charge, There is a wide variety of drinks packages available at reasonable prices .The food in the cafeteria was often Luke warm and the quality was much better inthe main restaurants .overall the cruise was very good the staff were excellent not many English on board mostly Italian and German who tend to barge about !! The shows were excellentand we would go with this company again
