This was our 30th cruise and first on Disney. Will never go Disney again. I completely understand that this is mainly for kids (8 and under is probably ideal) and adult care and feeding is secondary.. From an overall cruise experience, RCL, Carnival, and Princess cruise lines offer more variety and choices for daily activities caring for both adults, families, and children. As far as the food goes, a major disappointment. If you are not prepared to eat at specific times and just feel like the buffet and not the dining rooms - forget it. No buffet after 2:15 pm. It's Flo's, pizza, hamburger, chicken nuggets, sandwiches, etc., at three stations till 6:30 pm and that is about it. Pizza opens again at 9:30 pm. Cabanas at night turns into a sit-down dinner place at 6:30 pm with a limited menu - no buffet. Food was average at best everywhere including dining room and the morning and early afternoon buffet. RCCL, Carnival, and Princess all had more variety, more options, and better food.
