My husband and I are in our late 60's and decided to treat our children and grandchildren to a week's cruise before Christmas. We have travelled extensively, own timeshare with Disney and Marriott and thought we were savvy enough with rules and regulations. There were 11 of us traveling. Six adults and five children. Two seven yr old boys, two five yr. old girls and one two yr old boys. No discounts and much more expensive then other cruise lines minus the characters. But then again, how much do they pay these characters which were few and far between.
Our three staterooms were side by side on the 8 th level with a balcony. Great cabin with lots of storage room. Bathrooms were great and provided a seeming mini bath for little ones. The grandkids were in awe approaching the BIG ship. They loved their bunk beds and balcony to watch us splashing to our ports. The meals were great and our waiters were terrific and went overboard to please the children. Our room stewards were super cleaning up and organizing which was ever so helpful to tired parents.
The shows were good and definitely child appropriate in length and content.
Cabin was very nice. Lots of storage . Separate shower and tub area vs sink and toilet in another was a great idea.
Went on our own with dolphins super experience
