Very enjoyable experience

Had heard about Viking from friends, but this was our first on-board experience. What a treat it was!
Couldn't have been a smoother transition from plane to ship and back to plane. The tour director met us at the incoming airport as we boarded the bus.
The captain and crew were easily available and accessible. The captain frequently was the first one to greet us as we arrived back at the ship after our shore excursions.
The food was excellent and was locally adjusted as our trip progressed. The servers were fun - we really got to know them quite well and they took excellent care of us.
The entertainment was awesome (fun!) and the excursions were terrific. The piano player was local. The English speaking tour guides were top notch. I have not been on a lot of trips with guides, but I can't imagine a better overall experience.
We have already planned our next Viking cruise.
Cabin Review
Very nice stateroom on a main floor so very little stairs to negotiate. The cabin was quite adequate for the two of us, bath was small but manageable. The French Balcony was nice for the couple of times we had it open.
