The Lindblad/National Geographic team on the boat was superb. The 7 naturalists (all certified by the Galapagos Nationa Park) were incredibly well trained and knowledgeable the wildlife, the ecosystems, and local history and culture. Two of them also served as photography advisors and videographers. All of the passengers were encouraged to share some of their best shots and the videographer share his work. We also had the opportunity to learn more about the life of Charles Darwin, watch an extensive documentary from National Geographic, visit a local school training children to become naturalists, etc. Each day we spent time visiting one or two islands with vastly diverse species of wildlife, ecosystems, and recreation opportunities. The meals were well prepared using very healthy foods (except the desserts) and the dining room staff was excellent.

The other crew members, from the ship captain's team to the cooks, housekeepers, etc. were also very supportive. All of the logistics arrangements were very well handled.

We met many interesting fellow passengers with whom we spent field trips, group meals and many hours of fascinating informal conversations. It became a small community of fellow nature enthusiasts within hours of boarding the vessel and stayed that way until we departed at the airport eight days later.

Cabin Review
