The ship has been designed to make the passengers spend on everything. The normal restaurant for all the passengers as it used to be, is no longer. Now they have 4 different normal ones and the quality of food is a disgrace. Unless you want to spend $100's for 2 people to eat in one of the many specialist restaurants, such as Jamie's kitchen where the lady chef came out to argue with us for returning the salmon, because it tasted like rubber.
On new years eve the party was on the main inside deck, which was 80% taken up with sales carts and consisted on some balloons falling down from a net on the ceiling, not even a drink of water was free. The Champaign was only given out by the bottle and only so long as it was a pre booked table, in the rear of the ship which was used for shows and at a cost of100's of dollars.
The main sun deck had no staff or beds to lay on. The entire ship is based on you spending your money for everything.
It was fine.
