We are a retired Canadian couple who winter in south Florida to play golf, meet new people and generally enjoy ourselves. Wanting to do something different over the Xmas period we decided to try a winter cruise and as we had never been to the southern States west of Florida we chose the America Cruise Lines Mississippi cruise. This cruise line has figured out who their customers are and what they want; an all inclusive cruise with others who want the same things.

All the cabins are about the same size, including balconies and reasonable sized bathrooms. The "America" is a 2016 built ship so very shiny and clean.

We opted for breakfast in our cabin for all but the last two days. The food always arrived on time and was hot and cooked as requested. Lunches and dinners were very good and the option of having half plates meant we didn't have to leave uneaten food on our plates or stuff ourselves.
