Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Concierge Class 2

We arrived in Miami on Friday night and spent the night at a hotel near the airport. I had arranged a car service to bring us to the port at 10:30 am Saturday morning. The driver was on time and all bags were loaded in and we were on the road around 10:35. No traffic in Miami on Saturday morning sot made great time. Car pulled up to the curb and all five bags taken away and not seen again until around 3 that afternoon. Gave the man a 10 and a big thank you and headed for the check in process.

Many of discussed the confusion and problems of the Miami terminal but we did not experience any of that. There are two lines that form at the entry, stay to the right if you are sailing, I believe the left line is for those visiting the ship before sailing. Security was a breeze as was check in. All paperwork was in order and had a Sail and Sign card and told the ship was boarding and we could proceed towards the ship. This next part is a bit hard to believe, but trust me "truth". We were onboard with champaign in hand at 11:10 a.m. Hotel to champaign in 40 minutes. Really was a great way to start a vacation.

We headed towards the Opus MDR for a sit down lunch (Concierge level) and was told it opened at 11:30. No problem, have a drink. Had lunch, met some new friends, and headed to room around 1 and found it clean and ready. We were on deck 12, room 2166, and loved it. Huge balcony in which we had breakfast most mornings.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Best cabin by far in our travels. This room is on the hump (area of ship that sticks out towards the rear of the ship. The balcony was huge compared to others we have had. Plenty of room for four to eat and enjoy the sounds of the waves.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Rough weather made tendering difficult. Made it in around noon and just shopped and enjoyed a cigar and cup of coffee.

Falmouth

I walked into the city and had jerk chicken and rum punch. Great people, offered lots of weed, keep walking and say no thanks, back on ship by 1:30.

Labadee

Thought this spot would be the worst of the four ports but it was a blast. Royal Car you did good. I love a day at the beach, sun, sand, drinks, lunch, what else does a person need.

Miami

I love Miami, great Cuban food and the port experience was great.
