We needed to get to NY from Florida and I saw this 1 way cruise from San Juan to NY. We got a cheap flight to San Juan and we showed up during our scheduled time to board, There were very long lines in the hot sun. We eventually boarded and loved the ship. It has nice public areas and even dressed up the ship for Christmas. I wish that there was a public laundromat on the ship and the internet package was not as nice as Carnival provides. The food was good but not outstanding. The ice cream in the buffet area is outstanding. Our cabin, while small, was organized well and we rarely felt cramped and with 4 port days, we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the cabin. On sea days, the Norwegian staff provided us with such recreational activities as trivia games. I feel that this cruise was a very good value.
Small cabin with the bed facing sideways. It was a good use of space and we only felt cramped when 1 of us was in the bathroom, closet area and wanted to get into the bed area.
We went to Megan's Bay and got there by taxi.
We took a ferry to Virgin Gorda and then a cab to the Baths.
We took the ferry to town and walked around shopping.
We went to Cockleshell beach by taxi.
We stayed at the Caribe Hilton
