The cruise was alright. A rather basic operation, no luxury or frills. For example there is no coffee offered with your evening meal, no tap or iced water is available in the restaurant, the food was very mass catering - unmemorable, fairly tasteless and ofter tepid.

The worst part for a solo English speaking passenger was the loneliness of dining either alone or at a table of non English speaking Italians or Russians.

On my first day I got a questionaire asking if I was alright with the cabin being cleaned only once a day and would I prefer that to be in the morning or the evening.

Cabin Review

Cabin Standard cabin with balcony

Perfectly adequate, small balcony. Apparently Costa are planning to cut back on the service.
