We chose this cruise because it was out of Galveston and 5 nights. We were not particular about what ports of call as we had not been on a cruise in 28 years and were more interested in the ship experience. Overall we had a great time and are already thinking about doing another cruise next year.

We were fortunate with the weather as it was calm for the first 3 days and no tummy trouble. The 4th and 5th days were rougher as there was a big storm we cruised through.

We dined in the main dining area every night, and found the food and service to be very good. We are not big on red meat so we chose to forgo the steak house dining. We dined at Guy's Burgers and the Buffet the rest of the time although our last day on board we did go for the fresh crab legs for lunch ($19.99 per lb). This and other fresh seafood is not included so you do pay extra.

Cabin 6A

Cabin was nice and larger in size that we expected. There was plenty of room in the closets for the limited amount of clothing we brought as we tried to pack very lightly.
