This cruise originally booked to embark at Istanbul but was changed following troubles there. We were disappointed as we wanted to see Istanbul. However our other port was Jerusalem so we accepted the change. Thereafter, communication with Celebrity was difficult. We could only access the web site to give personal details - we could not access details of trips and neither were we sent any information on trips. We were forced to seek independent trip companies which turned out to be excellent - small group sizes, superb guide and driver and significantly cheaper then booking through Celebrity.

Days before travelling our Travel Agent eventually were able to get us paper luggage labels by contacting booking department.

A big mistake we made was booking the cruise before flight details were known. Our flights to Athens were via Frankfurt (one and a half hours wait) with a similar journey on return from Rome.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class Balcony

Good size, plenty of hanging and draw space, shower really good with glass doors in place of curtain. No tea or coffee making kit in cabin - flask of cold tea provided daily -yuck!!!
