This was our 7th cruise on Carnival and we don't feel Splendor measures up to the other ships we have been on. We had more trouble getting around on this ship. More detours, less direct paths.

Embarkation - Although we arrived at our assigned time, it took about 1.5 hours from the time we reached the port until we were on the ship. 15 minutes to be processed, an hour of sitting and then 15 minutes to board the ship.

Disembarkation - We carried our own luggage off the ship and it couldn't have gone better. We were called to the gangway early and there were no delays or waits to get off the ship. We were on the shuttle to our hotel by 7:45. Read more
