Where do I begin? We booked nearly last minute and was told there was a possibility for an upgrade. We paid for an outside cabin and got one with a completely obstructed view, as a life boat was directly put the window. We asked if we could pay for an upgrade to a balcony and were told to keep coming back the next day. After 3 days we gave up. However, they did upgrade 2 from winning Bingo! They just didn't want us to move.

The ship was ok. The food was better than I expected. We ate several lunches in O'Sheehan's and it was good. The Aqua dining room was to way to go. Also ate there several times. However, the weather wasn't the best most of the way and, unfortunately, there was no solarium. Every other ship on which we have been (Royal, Celebrity or Princess) had a solarium. On bad weather days, there was nowhere to go! One day we read in the library just to get out of the room.

The excursions were decent, albeit pricey, as they all are on cruises.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OX

The cabin itself was ok. The bed was parallel to the hallway and we could hear every sound. In addition, it was located next to not one, not two, but three crew stations, from housekeeping to IT to their access door. Talk about loud.
