This was our first River cruise. We started with a stay in Prague for a few days prior to our cruise. It was wonderful. The cruise concierge was so helpful and offered suggested tours of the beautiful city. Viking takes care of your every need. We boarded our ship at Nuremburg and took a tour of the city with an emphasis on WWII and the trials. The cruise itself was fabulous. Beautiful ports of call, wine and beers from those regions served at lunch and dinner. Your glass was always full. The staff was great and was there to meet your every need. Food was great as was the entertainment. The optional excursions were reasonably priced. Our cruise ended in Budapest with an additional 2 day stay. Our hotel overlooked the river and the night lights of the parliament. We took a tour called a taste of Hungary on our own. Would highly recommend it. We didn't leave Hungary hungry!
