We have travelled w Norwegian in the past and had good experience With them. One of us have mobility problems and made arrangements for assisted boarding. We waited for nearly 2 hours to the assisted onto that shipped with a wheelchair. Though this is not directly the fault of the cruise this experience in the port was extremely stressful and unfortunately I have no idea how to prevent this. Having said this however everyone on the ship every member of the crew and staff were exceedingly polite helpful and pleasant. There were countless activities and something going on all the time in the staffs attempt to please everyone. They succeeded in their jobs.

Our room had a small balcony and although there was no chair to sit on in the room because of its small square footage of 172 ft.², the beds were comfortable and there was enough room to put her clothes away. The bathroom although typically small, had a very nice shower enclosure and we had no mechanical problems or plumbing issues. Our room Steward was very punctual and did his job extremely well.

Despite their best efforts the dining room staff suffered from what the cruise line calls freestyle dining. Their system allows your meals to follow you in all dining rooms and uses your room number is an identifier. This can lead to long delays in receiving your meals. Special shout out to kosher cruisers-- the meals on board were from sterling caterers in Hollywood Florida. About a third of the time the entrées were totally inedible. The quality was extremely variable and although there were some tasty meat meals, availability was spotty, freezer burn was unpredictable and I hope that Norwegian changes its supplier of kosher meals. The cruise demands that passengers register for all shows to prevent overcrowding in the theaters. This is a minor inconvenience. There are charges for a number of the entertainment venues as well. The quality of the shows especially "burn the floor" is exceptionally good. The illusionarium is also very entertaining as are the on board games and dance lessons.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

172 ft.² is not much room, but the living area is laid out well and there is room for storage of suitcases under the beds. The balcony was tiny but enough for two people to sit on and relax. Linens were changed daily upon request.
