The Regatta is a beautiful, elegant ship. It was a wonderful and relaxing cruise. We took a 10 day cruise from Vancouver to Alaska to San Francisco. It was our first time on Oceania but we have hundreds of cruise days under our belt from other ships so have a good idea of what to expect. The food in the main dining room was the best cruise food we have ever tasted, wonderfully prepared and presented. The staff and crew were phenominal, very friendly and helpful. Only negative experience we had onboard was a few interactions with a couple of the reception staff. Most of the staff at reception were excellent but two staff appeared to be uncaring and dismissive over an issue we had. We did not receive our free internet and $800 per cabin onboard credit until the 4th day of the cruise which was almost half way through our cruise. However, by the time we received the internet it was out of service most of the time. On this ship unlimited internet meant unlimited frustration.

It is definately an older, richer, somewhat aloof group of travellers at times but the positives of this cruiseship far outweigh the negatives. Our window cabin was lovely, the lectures were very interesting and we enjoyed the entertainment. Would definitely come again if I wanted a casually elegant cruise with rest, relaxation and wonderful service and food.

Loved our cabin location, only steps away from the reception area yet very quiet and central to everything. Cabin was nice and kept very clean and room service was excellent.
