We are retired and have been on many cruises over the years (over 20+), many of which were on Holland America. This cruise was one of the best we have ever taken. We have been very disappointed with some of the other Holland America ships (Ryndam & Zuiderdam) but the Eurodam was excellent. We love Holland America but have learned that all of their ships aren't the same. Would recommend that before booking any Holland America ship that you carefully read the reviews for that particular ship and to also make sure you are not sailing on one of the last cruises before the ship is being sold!

The Eurodam had been recently been updated and for the most part the ship was beautiful. The service (except for the anytime dining service) was excellent. There does not appear to be enough staff for the anytime dining, and service is extremely slow. The Lido was updated and the food was always good and service excellent. We enjoy the relaxing style on Holland America and in particular the smaller and mid sized ships. The Silk Den on the Eurodam was a wonderful place to have a few drinks and relax with friends.

No complaints, everything was clean and in excellent condition. Shower pressure initially gave us a problem but was fixed immediately (with a smile)!
