This was an excellent small ship cruise in the pristine environment of southeast Alaska. There were 9 passengers and 6 crew on my trip. We flew into Sitka the day ahead and explored the pretty little town and wonderful museum. We saw lots of wildlife, and were lucky enough to spend 2 hours watching group of maybe 10 or so humpback whales bubble netting for salmon over and over again. What a sight!
The cabins are small, but ensuite. This is unusual on such a small ship. The ship is a double deck tug boat that has been working the west coast waters since 1912.
The crew was excellent and I have never had such good food on a cruise ship, and I have been on ones of all sizes, from 10 to 3200 passengers.
The cabins are very compact but this is a small ship and each has its own ensuite. the public area are generous so the cabins are only used for sleeping.
