Having been on a Fred Olsen cruise before and seeing this one departing from my home port of Belfast. Being a regular cruiser I was aware the check in system is normally the worst experience. This was much better and when we arrived there was no one else in the queue. The short journey to the ship was done on a local bus. The only negative point was when we arrived on board only a small snack was supplied. this was at 2pm and as we were not having our evening meal to 8.30 this was a bit too long. The room was clean and as described.

The ship overall was a bit dated but presentable. The staff like any other ship were helpful. The normal shows and actives were available.

The all inclusive was described as any thing available however I found that for selected teas and drinks for example cocktails and specialty tea was priced at half price. Barcadi would be my drink of choice however again this was half price a local white rum was choice.

Outside Cabin

Cabin E

The picture window was aged and had rust around the window. Layout was basic but very clean. The steward was very helpful and good at her role.

Port Reviews

Travemunde (Lubeck)

The ship docked at the town centre we just walked off and done our own thing. A local band was on the quaysidee to see us off. The where very good.

Dublin

Living about 100 miles away we have been several times and just walk about the area ourselves.
