We have cruised with other companies. Our impression of C&M is budget throughout. This started at Hull where we waited in a marquee for embarkation. We then went through the P&O terminal and there was a computer glitch which delayed our boarding.

Ship- On board our first impression of Marco Polo was a traditional small ship but clean and quite well maintained. Layout was OK but cramped in public lounges. Elderly passengers had gone to sleep in lounges, including the show lounge.

Cabin- Our cabin (618) was on a higher deck but above the show lounge. The walls were paper thin and we could hear rehersals from below. We did have a large window in the cabin and a good unobstructed view. The TV was old and the picture rubbish all cruise.
