The itinerary of multiple ports including 3 days in St. Petersburg was outstanding. We were at sea for only 1 day and that was fine for some down time. Royal Caribbean reminds me of a cost cutting US airline; I was not happy with several key points:

1) Shore excursions were very pricey including Russia, $325 to visit Egskov castle in Denmark and $179 for Schwerin Castle. I think they disclosed half the ship made other private shore excursions for St. Petersburg.

2) The cruise docks were at horrible locations in Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen was the worse. These locations triggered the need for shuttles which guests were responsible for paying for. The most frustrating one was Copenhagen where we had an overnight stay; the shuttle stopped running at 8pm while a taxi drive would be 20 minutes or at least $50 back to the boat.
