Chose the cruise as there was only a flight one-way. We were interested in seeing places for the first time and as my husband is an ex- marine engineer passing through the Panama was a highlight. The talks before each port were extremely interesting and well presented and gave us many ideas of what we wanted to do and see at each port. We did not do any of the ship excursions as we have found all shipping lines excursions are too expensive and not good value. We enjoyed dining when we felt like it. Food was varied, tasty and plentiful. Staff were efficient and helpful altho' some people managed to get into the dining room without sanitising their hands. We enjoyed meeting, spending time with and dining with people from other countries. The ship, public toilets and our cabin were always immaculate. The library on board was disappointing - just a small area at the side of a cafe with very few books.
