This was our second river cruise and our second one with Scenic. Our other cruise experience consists of 65 ocean cruises. We chose this trip because the itinerary consisted of a number of ports we have never been to. We chose Scenic because of our favorable experience with them last year on the Seine River from Paris to Normandy. We enjoyed the environment where the majority passengers were Australians, followed by the UK and Canada. Of 160 passengers, there were about 20 Americans. This enhanced our travel experience. We had to respond to a number of questions about our election process.

As part of their promotion, Scenic provided our air flights. They provided the flights we requested, including a pre-cruise stopover in Prague ( at a small additional cost). We were pre cruise in Prague for 4 days and then flew to Budapest for 2 pre-cruise days.

We took a taxi to the ship in Prague. Embarkation was almost seamless except for the fact that there was no one waiting dockside to assist with our luggage. I had to go onboard to seek assistance., Read more
