Just back from the inaugural sailing . I have previously sailed on the Splendour of the Seas and was keen to see how the ship had changed after being taken over by Tui . The ship itself is bueatiful with lots of space for socialising plus lots of quiet spaces . As you would expect of a recently refurbished ship everything was gleaming and constantly being cleaned and polished.
Many things are familiar such as the outstanding staff that Thomsons are famous for .Lots of the staff have transferred from other Thomson ships so Thomson loyal customers will feel at right at home.
The first sailing of any ship will always be a bit hit and miss sometimes a little patience is required especially at some bars at busy times but let's face it's learning curve for everyone.
Plenty of hanging / drawer space. Bath with shower . Clairn's toiletries provided . Hairdryer dressing gowns and slippers are all in cabin for your use. It is a spacious cabin with a sofa and two comfortable chairs . The only downside it has a pilar in the cabin it didn't bother us but my annoy other people. It has a large balcony with two chairs and a table .
