My husband has always wanted to go to Greece. Vantage offered the perfect trip.

The Harmony G is operated by Variety staff and crew but charted by Vantage for this voyage. The Variety staff and crew are all very professional and provided excellent service. The Cruise Director, Laura Giannola, was employed by Vantage - she made the trip so special with her love and passion for Greece and it's rich history. She really loves to travel on the Harmony G and that meant a lot to us (my husband is a boat captain).

The ship was decorated nicely and appeared to have been recently renovated. The lounge was roomy and the bar was staffed at appropriate time. Drinks were reasonable and available upon request if no one was behind the bar. The dining area was a bit on the small side but Thanos made it work. Topside was my favorite place and had plenty of fresh air, beautiful views, lounge chairs and cushioned seating - it was never off limits.

Cabin Review

Cabin D

We opted for the least expensive cabin. Our cabin and head were EXACTLY the same as the next TWO upgrade sizes except for the window and deck level. Our cabin was located below the dining room and had two small windows just above the water line. This is sort of weird but we just kept the curtains pulled. We were glad we didn't have large windows once we docked in the first port - the crew would have to walk by to tend lines and bumpers. The cabin had two twin beds that could not be moved. Lots of under bed storage space for our suitcases. The ship provided 8-10 hangars in a single wooden locker (similar to American aircraft carrier CPO berthings). Our head was large with a regular flush toilet which always worked. The shower was very large even for some land hotels. Not much counter space by the sink but no other cabins were different than ours. The water in cabin is not for drinking but you can use it to brush your teeth. Overall, a mirror image cabin for less than those on upper decks.

Port Reviews

Mykonos

This is an excellent port of call even though we only stayed a few hours. We rented a scooter and saw as much as possible in a short time.
