Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Mid-Ship Inside

This cruise was half the price of other cruise lines sailing basically the same route on a 20 to 22 day itinerary. We also wanted to see Florence & Rome so we visited those cities ourselves after the cruise.

The Shore Excursions although expensive were very well organized and unlike other cruises we've been on, they didn't turn anybody away. Meaning if 45 people show up, one bus runs. If more than 45 people show up, 2 buses run & so on. They know ahead of time how many buses are needed. So there was no need to "book the excursions early".

The food was so so. The Garden Café (buffet) was very good however the Specialty Restaurants (complementary) offered meager servings, the food was very bland & there was limited selection unless of course you wanted to pay extra. The quality of the Pay Specialty Restaurants (we only tried Cagney's) did not justify the extra cost.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IA

Smallest cabin we've ever been in. With the beds together in the center there was maybe 5 inches clearance to squeeze past the desk. Cabin Steward was fair. Room was clean. Bathroom was a decent size with a shower door not a curtain.
