We chose this cruise because of the origination and destination and the fact that we had sailed the previous year with Uniworld. The entire staff of the first cruise and this cruise were absolutely outstanding. It was very clear that their primary goal was to ensure that their guests were well taken care of commencing from the time of purchase of the cruise and even after the cruise ended. The meals were always expertly prepared and the service at mealtime was individualized. Excellent wine, beer and drink selections. The tours were well thought out and the guides were excellent, much information shared. Both the ship's captain and the tour director managed to provide continued services and tours even when the ship was docked due to an unnavigable (Rhine) river due to heavy rains and river height and flow. The wait staff in the dining room always engaged the guests and were attentive to details, remembering individual likes and dislikes.
