Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Our first cruise was a 15 day Transatlantic to Rome. We then stayed on another 10 days on the same ship in the same cabin.. We do a lot of cruising and have plenty of experience on Royal Caribbean ships. Major complaint was that they removed transatlantic satellite television programming. They claim it was too intermittent and snowy, to us intermittent service is better than no service. Had to wait 7 days to get the news.

Pens and writing paper have been removed from the cabins. They did something to the cabin toilets were the seats are 20 inches above the floor, which is 1 or 2 inches higher than recommended sanitary codes in the U.S. Maintenance of the men toilets is very satisfactory, if you don't mind stepping in a pool of urine.

The bar service and Concierge Club was first-rate. The drink servers were exceptional. They were friendly, professional and efficient. The waiters in the dining room were wonderful. They were attentive and very friendly.
