Trip Details
  • Sail Date: Apr 2016
  • Destination: Transatlantic
  • Cabin Type: Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom

Our travel agent got us a good deal, to include extra nights in Brazil and Barcelona. Never been to Brazil before, and the itinerary suited us with 7 days at sea, the cruise ended in Barcelona and we only live 1 hour flight away.

We were mid ship deck 2 with a window, the cabin was big enough and clean, the windows were rusty and needed renewing.

We had booked a table for 2, after many calls to the desk we were given a table for 2. Meals were OK, many times I had a main course as a starter, I just didn't see I anything I particularly liked.

We enjoyed the entertainment both in the theatre and in the Centrum. All the staff we met were very friendly and professional.

Went on the Rio trip to Sugar Loaf and Jesus the Redeemer commentary in English it was great.

Would go on Rhapsody again.

Cabin Review

Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom
Cabin F 2040

The windows were rusty and needed replacing, otherwise the room was big enough for us, and was kept clean.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Corcovado Mountain & Christ Redeemer statue

The guide spoke in english and was very knowledgeable. The trip went without a hitch. Of course The Mountain and the Statue were unbelievable, and so glad we went.

Malaga

Malaga is a very interesting City, very Cosmopolitan.

There are many churches and a Cathedral. Lots of main street shops and boutique shops. Lots and lots of cafes and restaurants, Calle Larios is a great place to watch the world go by.

Tenerife

Walked in to Tenerife, just looked in the many shops and had a coffee.

Santos (Sao Paulo)

We stayed 3 nights in So Paulo, at Hotel Mercure Jardins, which was very good. enjoyed Dhinos restaurant and Vento Harangue. Enjoyed shopping in Rue de Marco, t was very busy.
