This was my 5th cruise and my husband's 6th. By far, the Carnival Dream was our favorite ship! We had an interior state room and for the 2 of us it was perfect. There was plenty of closet space, the bathroom was the perfect layout and the bed (as always) was very comfortable. We were in a Spa Interior so we also got to use the Spa amenities. The Thalassotherapy Pool was amazing along with the steam rooms. We spent most evenings enjoying the spa just to relax and unwind from a busy day. Dinner was a little different than we were used to because they changed the menus. I was a little disappointed there was no Bitter and Blanc bread pudding but the melting cake made up for it. The food was awesome. Breakfast and lunch on the lido deck were a bit hectic, not everyone realized there are multiple levels for seating. The entertainment staff was fantastic. The shows were very good, "Checky" Charlie was hilarious at bingo. Jase was an OK cruise director he was everywhere on the ship. I'm pretty sure we saw him everyday. Our favorite bar tender was Thatpicia in the Lobby Bar. She knew what we wanted and had it ready before we even made it to a bar stool. Key West was nice port. We did the Hop on, Hop Off trolley and it was very nice. I'm not entirely sure why Freeport is still a stop for Carnival. The fiasco that was trying to get a cab was enough to put a very sour taste in my mouth for the whole day. Coming back from the beach resort there was a man standing naked on the side of the road and 2 very rude cab drivers. We will not be getting back off the ship in Freeport if we ever go back. On the other side we LOVE Nassau. We had lunch at the Fish Fry that was fantastic. We will be going back on the Dream as soon as it comes back from dry dock. The ship was great but it is definitely time for some upgrades the finishes were a bit dated. They desperately need a Guy's burger!

Freeport

Will not be getting back off the ship if we go back again.

Nassau

Twin Brothers at the Fish Fry is an all time favorite!

New Orleans

We stayed across the river in Gretna and took the Ferry to the French Quarter the 2 days we were in town. Nola is always a good time.
