We chose this cruise because of the itenerary. Unfortunately we spent the first day at Istanbul airport; we can only assume it was easier than changing our flight when Costa changed the departure port. On arrival, the reception staff was less than helpful and this continued for the duration of the cruise.

The service in the restaurant was appalling. The waiter actually apologised in advance for the anticipated slowness of service as he seated us on the third night! We assumed it was a problem in the kitchen or getting food from the kitchen as it wasn't the waiters.

Bar staff provided good service. Drinks package OK as coffee, soft drinks and water carried a charge.

Inside Stateroom

Clean, a little cramped - can't imagine 4 people in it!

Port Reviews

Mykonos

We took a local water bus for 2 euros and walked around town. The windmills are pretty.

Santorini

A beautiful place!

Dubrovnik

Not enough time. Wanted to take GoT excursion but did not have enough time. Walked the route and it was well worth the effort! Took a taxi to the view point above the city. Cheaper than the ship transfer.

Venice

We spent an extra couple of days in Venice. Took the train to Padua and really enjoyed wandering around the centre.

Athens (Piraeus)

Amazing! It was on my wish list and I was not disappointed.

Athens (Piraeus)

Pleasant walk.

Athens (Piraeus)

Enjoyed the experience

Athens (Piraeus)

Booked a taxi between 4 of us. We had a very enjoyable time and we were not rushed.
