What a great ship with all the necessary things for cruisers to enjoy their trip, but Oh there are some problems. If you are not aware that it is important to book your restaraunts and entertainment as soon as you can you may not get the times that you want. The buffet at the Windjammer has absolutely wonderful choices and should suit all tastes. The major problem with this buffet is that it is more of a cattle market than most ships with a distinct lack of seating.

We tried both complimentary and paying restaraunts and found food to be good overall and service excellent. Would recommend you check menu for each restaurant before booking.

Entertainment was of a high standard especially the two main shows. There was a major problems with getting a drink in the bars due to too many people in each bar and not enough staff serving. There are lots of excellent activities to do whilst on board.

Port Reviews

Le Havre

Nothing to really see in Le Havre it is just another port town. Did not book a Paris excursion as length of time for trip and prohibitive cost helped make decisions. Would recommend you go to Honfleur as this is a beautiful little town.

Brugge (Bruges)

Good tour of the canals with good description of sites passed.

Brugge (Bruges)

Good walking tour of town with good guide who was very knowledgeable about places and the history of the town and Belgium and was able to explain all to everyone and answer questions.
