This was our first Princess cruise and my 3 rd total. This will definitely not be our last Princess cruise as we were totally wow'd by the wonderful service, the great dining and the entertainment.

Embarkation couldn't have been easier. My husband and I dropped our bags with the porter, he parked across the street in front and we were on the ship in 15 minutes.

We found our stateroom easily and dropped off our carry-on baggage and headed to lunch.

Balcony

Cabin BD

We loved having a balcony for coffee and light breakfast in the morning. Our cabin was a nice size and the larger balcony made it seem even bigger. Lots of closet and storage space made it easy to stay organized. A nice size cabinet also contained a safe to hold documents and valuables. The shower is small but not as tiny as others have said. A very large person might be uncomfortable and might choose a room with a full bath. It was adequate and had good water pressure and hot water. Shower gel and shampoo/conditioner are provided. I use my own shampoo and conditioner because I am picky.

The air conditioning was adequate. The afternoon soon was intense but the drapes kept it from getting too hot.

The bed was so comfortable, we have a tempurpedic at home and I slept very well on this bed. All the linens were top quality and spotlessly white. Towels were large and fluffy. The ice kept well in the mini fridge. It contained bottled water for a charge but we used our refillable filtered bottles which fit in the fridge. We also stored a bottle of wine. (We were given clean wine glasses everyday and carried our own wine to dinner) .

I don't think I will be able to cruise without a balcony ever again. I'm so spoiled. ;)

Port Reviews

Houston

Easy access to terminal. Very nice facilities.

Cozumel

This is a beautiful park. The snorkeling is easy from shore. We arrived late and missed the other activities that we had hoped to see. Don't book with a tour agency. Just grab a cab for set fee and pay at the park. Avoid the inclusive buffet, it wasn't worth the money. Drinks on the beach are great and reasonable.

Belize City

Brief stop here to order lunch then returned after snorkeling. Never got all of our food. Not great food and overpriced. Place called Popeye's. Rum punch was best part. No real time to enjoy the beach.

Belize City

Boat was very small. No water onboard. Cool seeing Rays and nurse sharks.

Belize City

Snorkeling with the sharks and Rays and at Hol Chan Marine reserve. Poorly organized. Not even water onboard. Your guide was nice but the overall experience wasn't great. Would have preferred a cataraman snorkeling trip. The water in Belize is crystal clear and the coral is beautiful. Just not a great tour. Promised to go 25 ft but never happened.
