We boarded the boat in Rio, after a delay to sanitize the ship. We did receive an email with the delay in boarding the day before and managed to check our bags and take the tour we arranged. We were given sandwiches and lemonade while we waited.

We were aware that most of the ports were small without experienced tour guides and air conditioned buses. We found some private tours that were excellent. The ports were small but interesting. We did do our homework and investigated the ports before we left home.

My husband was disappointed in the pizza bar, no pepperoni. I did like the pizza. He did enjoy the hamburgers. The food in the dining room was very good and we had very good service. We liked the cappuccinos. We also enjoyed high tea in the horizon. If we were hungry we were able to find some place that had food.

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B1

Our room steward was excellent. Since all rooms are suites, we thought the room would be larger. The mattress was excellent. The bathroom was small but adequate. We always had bottled water in our room.
