This is our first time on Royal Caribbean ship. Have heard a lot good comments before, but end up rather disappointed.

The first impression was it is over crowded. Other than the theater, the pool and the sport area on the top decks, the only public area is the Promenade, the Star Lounge, the Sky Lounge, the corridor around the embarking deck and of course, the casino. The first impression of the promenade was quite good, until they put the shopping stalls in the middle, and tables and chairs on the side for the cafe and the bar, the corridor becomes so narrow then you have to squeeze through the tables and the shoppers.

Based on the information from the captain of the ship during a Q&A session, we were told that 160 staterooms have been added to the ship during the renovation done two years ago. The ship was originally designed for short trip less than 7 days, and has also been modified to take in more produce for the kitchen for longer trips. So, where are all the areas coming from? Of course the public area, and probably less staff area, and even less staff. Luckily the staff are still excellent and always helpful with a big smile.
