Took a western Carribean cruise and both my wife and I became sick just after getting off the ship. Both have viral infections and have missed worked since arriving back home. There was no conscious effort as there is with other cruise lines to sanitize passengers hands coming and going from ship or in dining facilities.

Our balcony room was well kept and room stewards were great. The shows and entertainment were very good. Stop at Coasta Maya was too brief and we found the tourist shop staff very aggressive. This port could have been skipped as it mainly benefited the gift shops.

The food served was mediocre at best and a $30 up charge for a steak restaurant was absurd! Read more
