Our first trip with Celebrity cruise lines 9 day So. Carribbean. Ship embarkation was quick and efficient. Our rooms were ready shortly after getting on board. Rooms need updating, curtains looked like rags, bathroom grout some mold. We did enjoy the night light feature in bathroom. Also the shelf under the window good place to put things. Was unhappy that after our first night we were charged for items from the mini bar we did not use. Guest services straightened out for us. Next time would ask that all items be removed from mini bar area. We upgraded to premium beverage package and was worth the extra cost. The martini bar made great cocktails and having wine at dinner was wonderful. We also enjoyed Bacio with Starbuck like coffee drinks and sweets.

Shows were hit and miss with nice seating in theater. Shipboard activities were lacking on sea days. We did not find many things to do other than the pool or casino.

Food was also hit and miss and way over salted. We had a couple of good meals in the dining room but otherwise could have passed on eating here. The sushi on the buffet was good and service was excellent. Staff was very accommodating in making spicy sauce for me. Tuscan grill food was good but not the quality we have had on other cruise ships. We were able to secure a discount for dinner there the first night glad we did not pay full price.

Ocean View 4

Cabin 04

Adequate space for sleeping and storage. Couch is basically a large chair so does not allow more than one person to sit at a time. Bathrooms are tiny and metal cover over toilet roll can scrape your hand. Night light in bathroom is nice feature. Large window allowed for good view when in port with shelf to store items. Mini bar can hold your own water or canned drinks to keep cold. Robes for getting out of shower nice touch. Plenty of room under bed for suitcases.

Port Reviews

Tortola

Great ride on large catamaran vessel with great crew to Sopher's hole. Lots of history of the area and of course rum punch. Once at Sopher's hole ride in open air bench seats back to ship. Great views but the ride is somewhat bumpy.

St. Croix

Catamaran sail we boarded but engine wouldn't work so tour was cancelled. Took a cab to Rainbow beach where we would have ended up. Short distance from pier would do this on your own. Beach is very rocky so need beach shoes. Had snacks and beer at restaurant. Beach chairs and umbrellas available to rent.

Antigua

Excellent tour of the island ending at a beautiful beach with clean restrooms and restaurant. Sand is coarse so take beach shoes. One of best tours we took.

St. Maarten

Took water taxi to town and enjoyed walking the beach and stopping for snack. Chairs and umbrellas available for rental on beach.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Took the water taxi up and down the canal area. Stopped for snacks and beverages. Great way to spend the day.
