Just returned from Cruise- 2nd to 13 February 2016- Ship was very well appointed and food was fairly good- crew very pleasant service acceptable -cabin clean

I am a solo traveler and paid almost double for my cruise- However I was very disappointed to find that the Solstice did not provide any specific activities or facilities form the solo traveler

I approached guest relations who pointed out a small notice on the information board suggesting that solo guests meet every morning 10am in the Martini bar- I attended several mornings but as the bar was in the middle of a very public area and was not staffed- in order to introduce solo guests -not a good idea - no guests approached the bar. I spent long days at sea- aside from the gym nothing and no-one for company- meals taken alone- never experienced such total indifference to solo travelers on any previous cruise- Celebrity take the exorbitant amounts from solos and do nothing to provide even basic introductions to facilitate the needs of single guests. On sea days I found the entertainment insufficient and poor quality- not all your guests are interested in gambling and shopping.
