This was our third cruise on Carnival doing this itinerary, and we had a good time as always. Hubby and usually cruise around the end of April/early May to celebrate our anniversary on board, but this time due to the timing of the ship change (Carnival's switching out the Liberty for the Fascination this April) we decided to do a much earlier cruise and bring a few family members along!

We live in Barbados, so we gladly take advantage of Carnival's provision for embarking here. This really makes cruising with them a real value vacation as we never have to fly anywhere in order to cruise, and the port is only about 15 minutes drive from our home.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

The cabin itself is your typical Carnival balcony cabin: lots of storage space, a good size for a cruise ship cabin, and despite our concerns, there was actually zero noise coming from the deck below.

It's located near the front of the ship, and you do feel a lot of movement here (as with any forward cabin). I would not recommend it if you suffer from motion sickness.

Port Reviews

St. Lucia

We got a lovely tour from Cletus, going all over and seeing the Pitons in all their glory. :-)
