I will begin by saying I very much enjoyed this cruise. The ship was beautiful and very clean. The staff was fun and entertaining. I traveled with my niece who was in her 20s. It was the first cruise boat for her and she was very impressed. I had read the cruise critic prior to going to make the most of my experience. We booked a lovely SPA Balcony room and it was well worth it. The extra products in the room and the robes/sleepers were a nice touch. We both spent a lot of time in the SPA as our cruise had two days at sea.

This is my 6th Cruise and my 4th on the NCL line. NCL is awful about up charges. It seems like I was on an airline paying for a "extra" for three more inches of space. First, the food was average. The only food which suited my taste were the speciality restaurants. I expected to have a few nights in such restaurants, but I probably would have had a better experience if I ate in the specialities on all nights. Even the main dining rooms were not good. This was certainly a big disappointment to me as I had not experienced this with NCL prior.

The spa staff were so pushy with selling services that on my second service with them, I had to tell the girl that I had already decided I didn't want to be sold on anything. All she could speak about was when my next service will be.......I evenly had to simply say not to speak with me. It was so annoying. There are packages and they try to work the numbers and have you spend money on everything. Yuk..... Lovely Spa, but please, if I want to buy products or services I will let you know. I don't need to be asked over and over during my visit.... All about the money here!!!

Spa Balcony Stateroom

Our balcony was very small for two people.
