Left from Civitavecchia, Italy. After being dropped off by shuttle it was a treacherous walk from gate of Port Security with our heavy luggage to find information on how to get to the ship. Upon arrival by bus we were told we had to get tags and check our luggage in. We have always carried our luggage on all the other ships before so we were upset.
Check-in was speedy and rooms were ready upon embarkation so we went to eat lunch.
Cabin with a balcony was roomy with lots of storage space. Our steward was very nice and our room was spotless. He was very helpful whenever we needed help with a problem.
Good size. Lots of storage space, Well organized. Washroom nice size with wraparound shower enclosure. Cabin steward great. Very clean.
Dumped at the gate by our shuttle to find our way around. Walked in the heat along a busy roadway with our heavy luggage to find someone to direct us as to how to get to the ship. We finally found a bus which took us to the checkin tent. Had to put tags on our luggage and check them in which was not appreciated. Then we got on another bus to be taken to the ship. What a terrible system.
Beautiful island. Didn't take any tours but it was pleasant just walking around looking at the sights.
Been there twice before so knew what to expect. Didn't appreciate being charge $7 each for a 5 min ride to the pier on the beach.
Just a commercial venture. Walking into the water at the beach was treacherous with rocks. Stayed for a quick swim then walked back to the pier to get the shuttle back to the ship before noon.
Another commercial venture. Nothing to see unless you took an expensive tour.
Didn't stay long in town because there was the same old stores with the same stuff you see everywhere.
